And Happy New Year everyone! 🙂 It’s the penultimate instalment of the 2022-23 ‘Nyssa Challenge’ mini-review season today! Since it’s the 60th anniversary of ‘Doctor Who’ this year, let’s revisit a Short Trips book anthology by Big Finish called ‘Short Trips: Transmissions’. One of the stories in the anthology has the Fifth Doctor and Nyssa in it.
That story of course is ‘Tweaker’ by Dan Abnett, with an audiobook reading by John Banks. The theme of ‘Short Trips: Transmissions’ is about messages. As well as ‘Tweaker’, there are also audiobook readings by John Banks on stories like ‘Only Connect’ with the Fourth Doctor, ‘Methuselah’ with the Fifth Doctor and Peri, and ‘Breadcrumbs’ with the Fourth Doctor and the second Romana.
