Week 55b – ‘The Nyssa Challenge’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Today, it’s the last day of ‘The Nyssa Challenge’ 2022-23 mini-review season of ‘Doctor Who’. I hope you’ve enjoyed the latest reviews on the latest Nyssa stories I’ve shared over the Christmas period. It’s time to take a look at the ‘Tenth Doctor, Classic Companions’ box set by Big Finish, which features the episode ‘The Stuntman’ where Nyssa meets the Tenth Doctor and K-9.

The box set also features ‘Splinters’ where Leela meets the Tenth Doctor and K-9, and ‘Quantum of Axos’ where Ace meets the Tenth Doctor and K-9. ‘Tenth Doctor, Classic Companions’ stars David Tennant as the Tenth Doctor, Louise Jameson as Leela, Sarah Sutton as Nyssa, Sophie Aldred as Ace and K-9, voiced by John Leeson. Have I enjoyed all three episodes in this box set?

Please feel free to check out, read and comment on my latest reviews on ‘Splinters’, ‘The Stuntman’ and ‘Quantum of Axos’ by clicking on the links for them. You can purchase the ‘Tenth Doctor, Classic Companions’ box set as a CD box set or a download from Amazon.co.uk, Amazon.com or the Big Finish website.

Enjoy! 🙂

I’m looking forward to checking out the ‘Conflicts of Interest’ box set by Big Finish, starring Peter Davison as the Fifth Doctor, Sarah Sutton as Nyssa and Janet Fielding as Tegan, when it’s released in April 2023. I hope to review the two stories featured in that box set in full detail when it comes to doing the 2023-24 ‘Nyssa Challenge’ mini-review season later this year. I’m sure there’ll be reviews on Nyssa stories to update as well as a couple of brand-new stories featuring Nyssa to check out and review in the next ‘Nyssa Challenge’ mini-review season. Until then, see you again for more Nyssa stories to visit and revisit before the end of December 2023. We’re still waiting for the Season 20 Blu-ray box set of ‘Doctor Who’, aren’t we? 😀

Bye for now!

Tim 🙂
