CD review – ‘The Beginning’ (Doctor Who)

Here’s a brand-new bonus ‘Doctor Who’ review by me to close off the William Hartnell/First Doctor era in the 60th Anniversary Marathon on ‘Bradley’s Basement’. It’s also my first Big Finish audio review to share in 2023. It’s time for ‘The Beginning’, the first of ‘The Quadrigger Stoyn Trilogy’ of ‘Doctor Who’ audios by Big Finish.

This was to celebrate the TV show’s 50th anniversary back in 2013. ‘The Beginning’ is a ‘Companion Chronicle’ adventure by Marc Platt, featuring the First Doctor and Susan. It stars Carole Ann Ford as Susan and Terry Molloy by Quadrigger Stoyn. This review is based on the second time I’ve heard this story. Will ‘The Beginning’ impress me on a second listen?
