It’s time to conclude our look into the Third Doctor era of ‘Doctor Who’ during the 60th Anniversary Marathon by having a bonus review on a ‘Companion Chronicle’ adventure by Big Finish called ‘The Doll of Death’. This story was released in September 2008, and it happens to be Katy Manning’s first return to play Jo Grant in ‘Doctor Who’. Continue reading

‘Doctor Who’ 60th Anniversary Marathon – Reflection on the Third Doctor

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Let me share with you what I think of the Jon Pertwee/Third Doctor era of ‘Doctor Who’ overall. For me, this is where the Doctor’s connections to Earth become more prominent. This is especially when he’s been exiled to Earth by the Time Lords for most of his tenure during his first three TV seasons. 🙂 Continue reading

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

It’s that time again for me to share a Disney+ Roundup on a few films I’ve seen recently. Incidentally, I’m currently halfway through ‘Ms. Marvel’, one of the ‘MCU’ shows on Disney+. Hopefully, it won’t be too long before I check out another ‘Star Wars’ Disney+ show as well as Season 3 of ‘The Orville’. Continue reading

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

The fifth and final season of Jon Pertwee’s era of ‘Doctor Who’ is probably one of the most significant in the TV show’s history. Most especially, it introduces us to Elisabeth Sladen as Sarah Jane Smith, who would go on to become one of the most popular ‘Doctor Who’ companions ever. 🙂 Continue reading

Quick DVD Box Set Review – ‘The Musketeers’

SPOILERS ALERT!!!

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

It’s funny how I seem to keep coming back to ‘The Three Musketeers’ by Alexandra Dumas every year. In 2021, I reviewed the 1993 film and in 2022, I reviewed the 2011 film. Both films I saw on Disney+. I’ve just finished checking out the BBC TV series ‘The Musketeers’, based on the 1844 novel. Continue reading

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

The Doctor attempts to take Sarah Jane for a trip in the TARDIS to the planet Florana. Instead, they end up on the planet Exxilon, where the Daleks also end up. It’s time for ‘Death to the Daleks’, the third story in Season 11 of the classic ‘Doctor Who’ TV series, starring Jon Pertwee as the Third Doctor and Elisabeth Sladen as Sarah Jane Smith. Does this ‘Doctor Who’ story live up to my expectations compared to other Dalek adventures I’ve enjoyed? This four-part adventure can be checked out on DVD and Britbox. Continue reading
