CD review – ‘The Doll of Death’ (Doctor Who)

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

It’s time to conclude our look into the Third Doctor era of ‘Doctor Who’ during the 60th Anniversary Marathon by having a bonus review on a ‘Companion Chronicle’ adventure by Big Finish called ‘The Doll of Death’. This story was released in September 2008, and it happens to be Katy Manning’s first return to play Jo Grant in ‘Doctor Who’.

‘The Doll of Death’ is a two-part adventure by Marc Platt. As well as Katy Manning playing Jo Grant, the story also features Jane Goddard, wife of new series writer Robert Shearman, as Mrs. Killebrew. Since doing ‘The Doll of Death’, Katy Manning has played Jo Grant/Jo Jones in more ‘Doctor Who’ stories. Does ‘The Doll of Death’ still hold up well?

Please feel free to check out, read and comment on my review for ‘The Doll of Death’ by clicking on the link for it. You can purchase ‘The Doll of Death’ either from Amazon.co.uk, Amazon.com or the Big Finish website.

Enjoy! 🙂

Bye for now!

Tim 🙂
