Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

In these unprecedented times – please keep safe – I’ve had a chance to revisit a movie I purchased on DVD back in 2014 after seeing ‘The LEGO Movie’ at the cinema. ‘LEGO Batman: The Movie – DC Super Heroes Unite’ has been an intriguing film to see and it isn’t like ‘The LEGO Batman Movie’ at all. Movie Review – ‘Joker’

SPOILERS ALERT!!!

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I hadn’t planned on seeing the film ‘Joker’ at the cinema when it came out in October 2019. But after hearing a lot of people talk about it, I decided to find out what this film was like. I went to see the film at the cinema with my best mate from school Stephen. He saw this film twice before I saw it. 😀 Continue reading

Quick DVD Review – ‘Scooby-Doo! & Batman: The Brave and the Bold’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Last week, I posted a review on the ‘Scooby-Doo Meets Batman’ DVD to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Scooby-Doo. In a way, I’m glad I did that since I reviewed the two cartoon films from the DVD release. But as they’re also included in the ‘Scooby-Doo! & Batman: The Brave and the Bold’ DVD, should I have bothered? For all I know, I might give the ‘Scooby-Doo Meets Batman’ DVD away. Continue reading

Quick DVD Review – ‘Scooby-Doo Meets Batman’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I’ve just realised that it’s the 50th anniversary of Scooby-Doo this year! Yes! That’s right! 50 years ago, Scooby-Doo the talking brown dog who solves mysteries with Shaggy, Fred, Daphne and Velma of Mystery Inc. was created. I used to watch Scooby-Doo as a kid on TV and I’ve also seen his movies. Continue reading

Book Review – ‘Batman & Robin’ (Novelization)

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I’ve read and reviewed the movie novelization of ‘Batman & Robin’, the fourth and final film from the original ‘Batman’ film series. The novelization is by Michael Jan Friedman. I enjoyed reading the ‘Batman & Robin’ movie novelization. But can the book save what is considered to be an awful movie? Continue reading

Yeah, I wasn’t lying when I said I wanted to do a quick review on ‘The Batman Superman Movie’ once I did my 4th anniversary celebration video with Sarah Sutton. I’ve seen the animated ‘Batman Superman Movie’ on DVD at last! I really enjoyed the film! It was a really exciting spectacle to watch! Continue reading

Book Review – ‘Batman Returns’ (Novelization)

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I’ve read and reviewed the movie novelization of ‘Batman Returns’, the second film from the original ‘Batman’ film series directed by Tim Burton. The novelization is by Craig Shaw Gardner. This was an interesting movie novelization to get through as it was the longest book with the shorter chapters featured. Continue reading

Convention Report – ‘Film & Comic Con Glasgow 2019’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I had a fantastic time last weekend at the ‘Film & Comic Con Glasgow 2019’ at the Braehead Arena. This was a two-day event from Saturday the 17th to Sunday the 18th of August. I saw my favourite ‘Doctor Who’ stars at the comic con – Sarah Sutton (who played Nyssa with Peter Davison), Sophie Aldred (who played Ace with Sylvester McCoy) and Katy Manning (who played Jo with Jon Pertwee). Cinema Experience – ‘Batman’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

It’s the 30th anniversary of the 1989 ‘Batman’ film by director Tim Burton and I saw the movie on the big screen for a limited re-release at Showcase Cinemas in Nantgarw! My parents and I had a great time seeing ‘Batman’ at the cinema. I’m convinced it’s the best out of all the ‘Batman’ movies! Continue reading
