I’ve now seen the first of three birthday presents from my best mate Stephen for 2017!

I enjoyed watching ‘Blackadder’s Christmas Carol’ on DVD! Yes I know, it’s too early for Christmas as it’s only June! My parents and I have just finished watching the complete DVD box set of ‘It Ain’t Half Hot Mum’! This was a Christmas present I gave to Dad last year and I’m amazed we’ve finished all the episodes over a month! My parents have really enjoyed this comedy series and I’m pretty pleased about that! Christmas DVD review – ‘The Likely Lads’ (1976 film)

This is a review on one of my Dad’s Christmas presents for this year!

This is the 1976 film of ‘The Likely Lads’, based on the BBC sitcom series, starring James Bolam as Terry and Rodney Bewes as Bob. I enjoyed this film very much and I’m glad that my Dad enjoyed it too, since he was into watching ‘The Likely Lads’ when he was growing up during the 1960s and 70s. Continue reading

This is what I had for Christmas from my best mate from school, Stephen.

I’ve greatly enjoyed ‘Blackadder Goes Forth’ on DVD! This is the fourth and final series of the BBC sitcom ‘Blackadder’ by Richard Curtis and Ben Elton. I enjoyed this version of ‘Blackadder’, especially, since its set during the First World War and some of my favourite comedy actors are featured in this. Continue reading

I’ve now finished listening to a bundle of ‘Doctor Who’ audios! These are the Novel Adaptations on five ‘Doctor Who’ novels published in the 1990s! I’ve enjoyed all five stories, as they have been interesting tales from the period when ‘Doctor Who’ was unloved by the BBC but loved by the fans. Continue reading
