Theatre Review – ‘Dad’s Army’ (Everyman Theatre Company)

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

It’s the 50th anniversary of ‘Dad’s Army’ this year! Wow! How amazing it is to think that this gentle war-time BBC comedy series would continue to be talked about and make people laugh since its first transmission on TV in 1968. What better way to celebrate this TV series and see a stage version of it! Continue reading

This year, I had ‘The Cable Guy’ with Jim Carrey and Matthew Broderick. This was the ‘funny’ movie Stephen gave me in the three birthday gifts for 2018. Continue reading

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m…

Okay! I can’t help it! I’m so excited! I can’t believe that I’m actually reviewing this movie today! It’s just so unbelievable! For the first time ever, I’m going to review… (deep breath) …‘Monkey Business’!

I know! It’s amazing! I’m reviewing the 1931 film with the Marx Brothers, one of the best comedy groups matching the likes of Laurel & Hardy. It’s not the 1952 film with Cary Grant, since I’ve not seen that yet. And anyway, I’d prefer to review the Marx Brothers film. I can’t believe I’m doing this!

I’ve now seen the third of the Christmas presents given to me by my best mate from school, Stephen. I’ve seen Series 1 of ‘The IT Crowd’ on DVD! This was a sitcom series created by Graham Lineham, one of the co-creators of ‘Father Ted’. This was as bonkers a sitcom series as it could get! 😀 Continue reading
