Movie Review – ‘Jungle Cruise’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Last Friday, my parents and I saw another film on Disney+ that was released simultaneously both at cinemas and on Disney+. ‘Jungle Cruise’ starring Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt was meant to come out at cinemas in 2020, but it was rescheduled to this year because of the Covid-19 pandemic. Quick ‘Monsters At Work’ Review – ‘Welcome to Monsters, Incorporated’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I’d like to share some thoughts on the first episode of ‘Monsters At Work’, the new Disney/Pixar series on Disney+ which is a follow-up to ‘Monsters Inc.’. I loved that film when I saw it in 2002 and it’s great to check out this new Disney/Pixar series whilst I’m still a Disney+ subscriber these days. 😀 Continue reading

Movie Review – ‘Black Beauty’ (2020)

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

My parents and I saw the 2020 film ‘Black Beauty’ on Disney+ last Friday. I greatly enjoyed it! I found how this turned out to be a satisfying modern take on the 1877 novel of the same name by Anna Sewell. It kept to what I knew of ‘Black Beauty’ as a story whilst doing something very unique with it. Continue reading

Movie Review – ‘The Journey of Natty Gann’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

My parents and I saw another movie on Disney+ last Friday and it turned out to be the 1985 film ‘The Journey of Natty Gann’. I enjoyed seeing this period drama film. It turned out to be better than I anticipated. It was very gripping, especially concerning the journey of a young girl finding her father. Continue reading

Movie Review – ‘Luca’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Last Friday, my parents and I saw the new Disney/Pixar film on Disney+ called ‘Luca’! I must say, I found this is a better Disney/Pixar movie experience compared to ‘Soul’ last Christmas. The story was easier to follow and felt more enjoyable compared to how I saw ‘Soul’ on Disney+ back in 2020. Continue reading

Movie Review – ‘The Three Musketeers’ (1993)

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I’ve recently seen the 1993 film adaptation of ‘The Three Musketeers’ on Disney+, based on the 1844 novel by Alexandre Dumas. Quite frankly, the story should be entitled ‘The Musketeers’ as the focus is on four main characters. The 2014 BBC TV series is called ‘The Musketeers’, so there you are. Continue reading

Movie Review – ‘Cruella’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

For the first time ever, I’ve seen a movie on Disney+ with Premier Access! That’s right! This Disney movie was released simultaneously at cinemas and on Disney+. And it was £19.99 well worth spent! I greatly enjoyed watching ‘Cruella’, a prequel film to the ‘The Hundred and One Dalmatians’ story. 🙂 Continue reading

Movie Review – ‘The Adventures of Bullwhip Griffin’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

It’s time to talk about another Disney film I saw recently on Disney+! 🙂 The film in question is ‘The Adventures of Bullwhip Griffin’! This is an American western comedy film starring Roddy McDowall as Eric ‘Bullwhip’ Griffin. He’s accompanied by Suzanne Pleshette, Bryan Russell, Hermione Baddeley and Karl Malden. Continue reading

Movie Review – ‘Emil and the Detectives’ (1964)

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Once again, my parents and I watched another film on Disney+ – the 1964 film adaptation of ‘Emil and the Detectives’, which is based on the book by the German author called Erich Kästner. 2021 is turning out to be a year of home cinema with Disney+ for me and my parents. Not that I mind that. 🙂 Continue reading

Movie Review – ‘The Three Caballeros’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Last Friday, I saw a childhood classic Disney film I hadn’t seen in a long time. I watched it on VHS in the 1990s and revisited ‘The Three Calablleros’, a 1944 film, on Disney+. It stars Donald Duck with two bird friends – the cigar-smoking parrot José Carioca and the pistol-packing rooster Panchito Pistoles. Continue reading
