Theatre Memories & Quick CD Album Review – ‘The Lion King’ (Stage Show)

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

One of the things I was looking forward to this year was seeing the stage show of ‘The Lion King’ in Cardiff at the Wales Millennium Centre. I have seen ‘The Lion King’ stage show before at the Lyceum Theatre in London back in November 2010. I was so looking forward to seeing it again 10 years later. Continue reading

Movie Review – ‘Onward’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Before the coronavirus pandemic affected the UK – please keep safe, my Mum and I had planned to see the latest Disney/Pixar film called ‘Onward’ at the cinema. Unfortunately, with the restrictions in cinemas and the eventual closure of them because of the lockdown, that wasn’t possible. A shame! 😦 Continue reading

‘Star Trek’ Tributes

Hello everyone. 😦

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley.

This year, we’ve sadly lost two ‘Star Trek’ stars – René Auberjonois who played Odo in ‘Deep Space Nine’ and Aron Eisenberg who played Nog in ‘Deep Space Nine’. I’m saddened by this as I’ve enjoyed seeing these two ‘Star Trek’ actors in ‘DS9’, with it being one of my favourite ‘Star Trek’ spin-off shows. Continue reading

Movie Review – ‘Frozen II’

SPOILERS ALERT!!!

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

At last! I’ve seen the Disney film ‘Frozen II’ at the cinema! It was the first time I’d seen a ‘Frozen’ film at the cinema. Unless you count ‘Frozen Fever’ beforehand. I’ve not seen ‘Olaf’s Frozen Adventure’ by the way. Otherwise, I’m pleased I’ve seen ‘Frozen II’ on the big screen as I had a really good time watching it. 🙂 Continue reading

I’m looking forward to seeing ‘Frozen II’ at the cinema next Tuesday. I hope to add a quick review on the movie in that week. In the meantime, let me share with you my thoughts on Disney‘s ‘Frozen’ which was released in 2013. ‘Frozen’ was the first Blu-ray my parents and I got in November 2014. 🙂 Continue reading

DVD review – ‘Oliver Twist’ (1997)

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

It’s time for a film review that combines both The World of Charles Dickens and Disney together. Here’s my review on the 1997 TV film adaptation of ‘Oliver Twist’. This TV movie was shown in ‘The Wonderful World of Disney’ US programme back in 1997. Like most film adaptations, this differs to what’s in the book. Continue reading

Disney DVD Review – ‘Bambi’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

To commemorate my late sister Bethan’s birthday this year, I’ve reviewed another one of her favourite Disney films – the 1942 film ‘Bambi’. This is a Disney film I loved watching as a kid. It’s a timeless classic and features beautiful imagery and music, set in a forest with forest animals including Bambi and his friends. Continue reading

Quick DVD Review – ‘The Jungle Book’ (2016)

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

This year, I saw the 2019 remake of ‘The Lion King’ in July. Whilst I don’t consider that to be better than the original cartoon film, I did enjoy it in some measure. Before that movie, the director Jon Favreau directed the 2016 remake of ‘The Jungle Book’. And I’m so pleased to say, I’ve at last seen it! Continue reading
