Hello everyone! πŸ™‚

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

For my finalΒ Disney film review in January, let’s take a look at another animated classic called ‘Sleeping Beauty’! The theme of this Disney film review season has been about romance especially with ‘Lady and the Tramp’, ‘Cinderella’ and ‘The Little Mermaid’. ‘Sleeping Beauty’ is no exception here. I also saw this film at the cinema recently at Showcase Cinemas in Nantgarw for a limited re-release. Continue reading

This week, it’s definitely ‘The Little Mermaid’! I’ve teased about doing a review on this Disney film from 1989 in this Disney film review season that I’ve finally done it on my blog. I’m pleased I’ve been able to do this review for my late sister Bethan and I hope you’ll enjoy my thoughts on the film and whether I like it or not. Continue reading

Movie Review – ‘Mary Queen of Scots’

Hello everyone! πŸ™‚

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I saw the movie ‘Mary Queen of Scots’ at the cinema this week. This is a historical drama film set during the Tudor period of England in the 1500s. The film stars Saoirse Rona as Mary, Queen of Scots and Margot Robbie as Queen Elizabeth the First. Both actresses deliver good performances in the film. Continue reading

Movie Review – ‘Stan & Ollie’

Hello everyone! πŸ™‚

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I’ve seen the movie ‘Stan & Ollie’ at the cinema and thoroughly enjoyed it. I found it a heartfelt biographical account of my favourite comedy duo, Laurel & Hardy. The film remained true to the spirit of the comedic atmosphere the duo had whilst also depicting what they seemed to be like in real-life. Continue reading

Disney DVD Review – ‘Cinderella’

Hello everyone! πŸ™‚

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Well, I was wrong about it being ‘The Little Mermaid’ this week. But that doesn’t matter, as I’ll be looking into ‘The Little Mermaid’ for next week. This week’s Disney review however is on the 1950 film, ‘Cinderella’. I have seen the 2015 live-action remake film by the way and really like it. What do I make of this cartoon film from 1950 then? Movie Review – ‘Bumblebee’

SPOILERS ALERT!!!

(cries)Β “Bumblebee!” (Pause)Β “Bumblebee!” (Pause)Β “How could you do this to me?! How could you?! How can you make me be interested in the ‘Transformers’ movies again?!”

(Moment of silence)

To understand why I feel like this, I must give you a little background on my experiences with the ‘Transformers’ movies of late and ‘Transformers’ overall. First of all, I had a big interest in ‘Transformers’ as a kid. It was when I got into ‘Beast Wars Transformers’ as a TV show and via the toys. Continue reading
