Hello everyone! 🙂
Welcome to the ‘Call the Midwife’ page on ‘Bradley’s Basement’.
This is a BBC TV period drama series about a group of nurse midwives who work in the East End of London in the late 1950s and 1960s. The series was created by Heidi Thomas, based on the memoirs of Jennifer Worth. So far, the series has lasted for nine seasons as it started from 2012 to 2020 here.
The series cast has changed considerably over the years it’s been on BBC TV. It first starred Jessica Raine with Miranda Hart, Helen George, Bryony Hannah, Laura Main, Jenny Agutter, Pam Ferris, Judy Parfitt, Cliff Parisi and Stephen McGann. It has also starred Linda Bassett, Charlotte Ritchie, Jennifer Kirby, Annabelle Apsion, Leonie Elliot and many more. It’s been well-received by audiences and fans.
My parents and I have been getting into the ‘Call the Midwife’ series for a while now. I reviewed the 2017 Christmas Special of ‘Call the Midwife’ first before reviewing the 2018 Christmas Special, Series 8, the 2019 Christmas Special and Series 9. I’m currently happy to revisit the series at the beginning.
I’ll be watching and reviewing the TV series as I go through each episode of the current nine seasons in ‘Call the Midwife’. Please feel free to check out; read and comment on my reviews for each episode. The list for my ‘Call the Midwife’ reviews is below. Click on the links below to check out and read my reviews.
Enjoy! 🙂
