    Hi Tim.

‘Into the Death-Space’ was quite an enjoyable read. Loved the chemistry shared between Nyssa and Billy and I found it lovely that they are married in one reality. I’m not sure how to feel about the ambiguous ending. I have hope that Nyssa and Billy didn’t die. I guess the line ‘Darkness consumed them and they knew no more’ could have meant that they returned to the Churchwood. I hope Sarah Sutton has read the story as you gave her a print copy at Bedford.

I’m still writing up the ‘Cold’ chapter of ‘States of Being’ for my blog. That series will be titled ‘Before the Fifth Doctor by Williams Fan 92’ like what you’ve done with your series. I will get started on the ‘Hungry’ chapter soon. I will get around to your two Short Trips that are set before the Fifth Doctor and Nyssa meet Billy, before reading ‘The Railway of Time’.

Sometime soon, I will share my thoughts on ‘The Gunfighters’ as I am almost done with the Target audiobook. I will watch the tv version eventually as I plan on purchasing the ‘Earth Adventures’ box set which includes ‘The Gunfighters’ and ‘The Awakening’. A shame Lynda Baron has died.

    Take care, WF92.

      Hi Xav/WF92,

Glad you enjoyed ‘Into the Death-Space’. Thanks for reading it. I’m going to try and make a start on re-reading ‘Four Time-Travellers and a Baby’ tonight.

Glad you enjoyed the chemistry between Nyssa and Billy and that they’re married in one reality. I would like to write a follow-up to ‘Into the Death-Space’ sometime. That would have to be in a future ‘Divergent Wordsmiths’ anthology, maybe for the 60th anniversary or something. I wonder if Sarah has read the story and enjoyed it. Incidentally, here’s a link to an Easter Egg on the ‘Unbound Imaginings, Volume 2’ anthology in case you haven’t found it. There’s another link to some ‘BB’ trivia files on it about the stories ‘The City of the Bad Wolf’ and ‘into the Death-Space’ which I wrote for the anthology – https://divergent-wordsmiths.weebly.com/20201202-unbound-imaginings-2.html

I look forward to checking out your ‘States of Being’ series on your blog. Hope you enjoy ‘The Regeneration Dillemma’ and ‘Girl Out of Nowhere’ as well as ‘The Railway of Time’. Look forward to hearing from you about ‘The Gunfighters’. Yeah it is a shame about Lynda Baron. I enjoyed her in ‘Enlightenment’ and ‘Closing Time’.

      Many thanks for your comments.

      Tim 🙂
