Yeah, I know, I know. I’ve got the two ‘Deadpool’ movies and ‘Logan’ to check out, but I’m basing my current ‘X-Men Film Review Season’ on the ‘X-Men’ 10 movie collection available on DVD and Blu-ray. For now, let’s end this review season with the latest and final instalment of the ‘X-Men’ film series by 20th Century Fox/Studios – ‘The New Mutants’. This film is directed by Josh Boone and stars Maisie Williams, Anya Taylor-Joy, Charlie Heaton, Alice Braga, Blu Hunt and Henry Zaga.

I wanted to see ‘The Suicide Squad’, the new 2021 film by writer/director James Gunn at the cinema. Before I did that however, I decided to check out the original ‘Suicide Squad’ film which was made in 2016. I saw the original theatrical version of the 2016 ‘Suicide Squad’ film at home via Google Play. 🙂

If you were to tell me after seeing ‘Toy Story 4’ in 2019 that I would be seeing the Disney/Pixar films ‘Onward’ and ‘Soul’ in 2020, I probably would’ve just shrugged and said, “Maybe, maybe not. I’m not that bothered to see them to be honest.” My, my, how things have changed since 2020 began! 🙂
