Out of all the DC Comics superheroes I know of, Aquaman is one I don’t know very much about. Hence why I wasn’t really interested in seeing the film ‘Aquaman’ when it was released at cinemas in December 2018! At that point, I was more interested in the Marvel superheroes than in the DC ones. Oh ‘DC Comics Extended Universe’! You have quite a journey, haven’t you?!
The cinematic universe of the ‘DC Comics’ superheroes began with ‘Man of Steel’ featuring Henry Cavill’s Superman in 2013. It was a big hit, even though it divided fan opinion on whether they liked it or not. Next came ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’ in 2016 and that film was a mess for me! Continue reading
