It’s New Year’s Eve today and it’s time to revisit one of my favourite ‘Doctor Who’ audio anthologies from Big Finish. This is ‘The Demons of Red Lodge and Other Stories’, starring Peter Davison as the Fifth Doctor and Sarah Sutton as Nyssa. This audio anthology was released in December 2010. I’m very pleased to be revisiting ‘The Demons of Red Lodge and Other Stories’ for ‘The Nyssa Challenge’ mini-review season from December 2022 to January 2023.

I’ve added my reviews on Series 1 of the BBC comedy TV series, ‘The Brittas Empire’. It’s been a good six weeks for me to review each of the six episodes of Series 1 in turn. I’m now looking forward to watching the rest of this comedy series about a leisure centre manager with Series 2 next.

I’ve added a new comedy page to my blog on the BBC TV sitcom series called ‘The Brittas Empire’. The series is about an odious leisure centre manager in Whitbury Newtown. It stars Chris Barrie as Gordon Brittas and Pippa Haywood as his wife Helen. I’m pleased I’m revisiting the series on DVD for my blog.

The episode is by Gareth Roberts and stars David Tennant as the Doctor and Freema Agyeman as Martha.

It’s Easter Monday today! The Lost Season 23 of ‘Doctor Who’ continues as we look into the fifth story of the Big Finish audio series starring Colin Baker as the Sixth Doctor and Nicola Bryant as Peri. This fifth story is called ‘Paradise 5’ and is by PJ Hammond and Andy Lane. The story also features Alex Macqueen as Gabriel and James D’Arcy as Michael.

It’s a really exciting box set of four stories and shows Colin Baker at his best in his final adventure as the Sixth Doctor by Big Finish! 🙂
