I’ve seen the second ‘Downton Abbey’ Christmas Special called ‘A Journey to the Highlands’, which was shown on ITV1 back in December 2012. Except this Christmas Special doesn’t take place at Christmas time. It actually takes place on the 12th of August as we go to the Highlands of Scotland. 🙂

I’ve seen Series 3 of ‘Downton Abbey’ on Blu-ray! I’m enjoying these ‘Downton Abbey’ seasons in the run-up to the upcoming film ‘Downton Abbey: A New Era’, which is set for release in March 2022. I’m enjoying the progression of the characters in the TV series, both upstairs and downstairs. 🙂

I’ve found out that the upcoming ‘Downton Abbey 2’ movie scheduled for December 2021 has been rescheduled for March 2022. I’m saddened by this as I was looking forward to seeing ‘Downton Abbey 2’ at around Christmas time this year. But at least I have more of the TV series to check out. 🙂

We’re coming to the end of the David Tennant era in this ‘Doctor Who’ marathon. It’s time to look at the Specials that were made from 2008 to 2010 before David Tennant left the show. The first one of these Specials is of course ‘The Next Doctor’ with David Morrisey and Cybermen in Victorian London.

By the time you read this, it’s the end of the Christmas holidays for me. And I’ve still got two discs left of ‘Doctor Who’ Christmas Specials to watch in this ’10 Christmas Specials’ Blu-ray. The Blu-ray box set also includes a set of 5 graphically illustrated ‘Doctor Who’ Christmas Cards with envelopes. This includes Christmas pictures of K-9, an Adipose, the Snowmen, reindeer and the TARDIS itself! 😀
