Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

It’s the last day of ‘Star Wars’ week on ‘Bradley’s Basement’ in May 2022, and we conclude on what is arguably the most divisive of ‘Star Wars’ film trilogies in recent years. It’s up to you whether you like this trilogy or not. I find it pretty average compared to ‘The Mandalorian’ and ‘The Book of Boba Fett’. I just hope there’ll be better ‘Star Wars’ movies in future.

‘Grantchester’ is back! Wow! It’s been a while since there was a new ‘Grantchester’ episode on ITV1. I’m pleased to be seeing this series again as I enjoyed catching up from Series 1 to 5 last year. And it’s pretty amazing to think that Series 6 was filmed during the Covid-19 pandemic – please keep safe.

My Mum received the DVD of the BBC’s 1991 adaptation of ‘Five Children and It’ for Christmas this year! My parents and I spent three days watching the six-part serial on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and the 27th. It was an intriguing experience watching ‘Five Children and It’ and was quite enjoyable.

We finish this year’s ‘Star Wars Review Season’ by revisiting the latest ‘Star Wars’ movie in the Skywalker saga…before we get to seeing ‘The Rise of Skywalker’ in December 2019…which I’m really looking forward to. It’s time to take another look at ‘Star Wars: Episode VIII – The Last Jedi’. Oh boy, this movie! 😀

Back in December 2015, I reviewed the ‘Shaun the Sheep Movie’ on DVD and ‘Shaun the Sheep: The Farmer’s Llamas’ on TV. It’s nice to go back to this again! Shaun the Sheep was first introduced in ‘Wallace & Gromit’ in the short film called ‘A Close Shave’. Shaun has been popular over the years! 😀

Baa! Do I seem ‘sheepish’ today?!

I enjoyed seeing ‘Shaun the Sheep: The Farmer’s Llamas’ on Boxing Day this year. This is a brand-new half-hour special episode starring Shaun the Sheep. It has well-known characters from Shaun’s CBBC series including Blitzer the dog; the Farmer; Timmy the lamb and introduces three naughty llamas.

This is something else I had for Christmas!

As I’m a ‘Wallace & Gromit’ fan, it’s fitting that I should have the ‘Shaun the Sheep Movie’ on DVD. I’d seen this movie in the cinemas back in February 2015. It’s a while since I’d seen it and I almost forgot what it was about. But it was great to see it again with Shaun; Blitzer and his flock of friends.
