‘Star Wars’ Week – The Sequels Trilogy

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

It’s the last day of ‘Star Wars’ week on ‘Bradley’s Basement’ in May 2022, and we conclude on what is arguably the most divisive of ‘Star Wars’ film trilogies in recent years. It’s up to you whether you like this trilogy or not. I find it pretty average compared to ‘The Mandalorian’ and ‘The Book of Boba Fett’. I just hope there’ll be better ‘Star Wars’ movies in future. Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Well, I’ve seen it! I’ve seen ‘The Batman’, the latest ‘Batman’ film directed by Matt Reeves and starring Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne/Batman. It’s taken a while for this film to come out at cinemas ever since I saw the first trailer for it back in 2020, but I’m pleased that it’s out at cinemas. Continue reading

Movie Review – ‘Venom: Let There Be Carnage’

Hello everyone. 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley.

Last Friday, I saw ‘Venom: Let There Be Carnage’ at the Vue cinema in Bedford when I was away for the weekend attending the ‘Bedford Who Charity Con’. I’m glad I saw this movie whilst I was away last Friday and it satisfied my curiosity after seeing the two trailers that preceded the film’s release. Continue reading

Revisiting ‘The Hobbit’/’The Lord of the Rings’ on Blu-ray

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ and I’m Tim Bradley!

I’ve had a chance to check out ‘The Hobbit’ and ‘The Lord of the Rings’ films again, set in the world of Middle-Earth. I’m planning to do a ‘LOTR’-styled Advent Calendar for my blog this year with a comedic edge to it. I also hope to make a start on updating my reviews on the ‘LOTR’ radio series once I’ve sorted out my ‘Nyssa Challenge’ reviews for this year. I also hope to see the new ‘LOTR’ TV series on Amazon Prime Video soon. Continue reading

Quick Trailer Thoughts – ‘Venom: Let There Be Carnage’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Just thought I’d share a few quick thoughts on what I make of the new movie trailer for ‘Venom: Let There Be Carnage’, the upcoming sequel to the 2018 film ‘Venom’, starring Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock/Venom and Woody Harrelson as Cletus Kasady/Carnage. I found the trailer utterly BONKERS!!! 😀 Continue reading

Since we’re in trailer mode today, let me share with you some thoughts on three movie trailers released from the recent DC FanDome event this year. Blu-ray Review – ‘Black Panther’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

And welcome everyone to this year’s ‘Marvel Cinematic Universe Film Review Season’!

Sadly, I haven’t been able to see ‘Black Widow’, the first film of Phase Four of the ‘Marvel Cinematic Universe’ movie series, this year because of its delay at cinemas due to the coronavirus pandemic – please keep safe. But at least this gives me a chance to catch up on the rest of the ‘MCU’ movie series. Continue reading
