It’s the last day of ‘Star Wars’ week on ‘Bradley’s Basement’ in May 2022, and we conclude on what is arguably the most divisive of ‘Star Wars’ film trilogies in recent years. It’s up to you whether you like this trilogy or not. I find it pretty average compared to ‘The Mandalorian’ and ‘The Book of Boba Fett’. I just hope there’ll be better ‘Star Wars’ movies in future.

Well, I’ve seen it! I’ve seen ‘The Batman’, the latest ‘Batman’ film directed by Matt Reeves and starring Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne/Batman. It’s taken a while for this film to come out at cinemas ever since I saw the first trailer for it back in 2020, but I’m pleased that it’s out at cinemas.

Last Friday, I saw ‘Venom: Let There Be Carnage’ at the Vue cinema in Bedford when I was away for the weekend attending the ‘Bedford Who Charity Con’. I’m glad I saw this movie whilst I was away last Friday and it satisfied my curiosity after seeing the two trailers that preceded the film’s release.

I’ve had a chance to check out ‘The Hobbit’ and ‘The Lord of the Rings’ films again, set in the world of Middle-Earth. I’m planning to do a ‘LOTR’-styled Advent Calendar for my blog this year with a comedic edge to it. I also hope to make a start on updating my reviews on the ‘LOTR’ radio series once I’ve sorted out my ‘Nyssa Challenge’ reviews for this year. I also hope to see the new ‘LOTR’ TV series on Amazon Prime Video soon.

At last! I’ve seen the third and final movie of the ‘Star Wars’ sequels trilogy at the cinema. I’ve seen ‘Episode IX – The Rise of Skywalker’! And I went in my ‘Star Wars’ Christmas pullover to see it at the cinema! Here I am in the photo below!
