It’s time for ‘Mind of the Hodiac’, starring Colin Baker as the Sixth Doctor and Bonnie Langford as Mel. Continue reading

It’s time to share some more ‘convention memories’ today as I talk about the last ‘Doctor Who’ convention I attended in 2013 – the 50th anniversary year of the TV show. In October 2013, I attended ‘Dimensions 2013’, held at the Copthorne Hotel in Newcastle, run by 10th Planet Events. 🙂 Continue reading

‘All Creatures Great and Small’ – Series 6 REVIEWED

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I’ve finished my reviews on Series 6 of ‘All Creatures Great and Small’. I have enjoyed this season, though I don’t think its as good as previous seasons. This is bound to be due to Peter Davison as Tristan not being in it much. But hey Series 7 is coming up next. I’m looking forward to see Trist back in that! 😀 Continue reading

Quick DVD Review – ‘The Demon Headmaster’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Remember the film ‘Matilda’, based on the book by Roald Dahl, where it featured our title heroine in a school run by a bullying headmistress called the Trunchbull? Well, what if there was a TV series that featured a school with an evil headmaster and a group of kids battled to thwart his pretty evil schemes? Continue reading

Today, I’ve added my reviews on the 12 stories featured in the BBC ‘Miss Marple’ TV series, starring Joan Hickson as the title sleuth. I’ve enjoyed watching these adaptations. Continue reading

We’ve come to the last stage of Series 1 of ‘Doctor Who’ with Christopher Eccleston and Billie Piper. Today it’s ‘Boom Town’, one of my favourite episodes from the series as it’s set in Cardiff and it features the Doctor, Rose, Captain Jack and Mickey teaming up to sort out Annette Badland as Margaret Slitheen. Here we are on where it more or less began for me with getting into ‘Doctor Who’ in the first place. This is the first two-part story in the new series of ‘Doctor Who’ starring Christopher Eccleston and Billie Piper. This is ‘Aliens of London’/’World War Three’ and it’s where we first meet the alien Slitheen. Continue reading

Series 1 of ‘Doctor Who’ with Christopher Eccleston

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Over Christmas last year, I received an extra present from my parents. It was the Blu-ray edition of Series 1 of ‘Doctor Who’ with Christopher Eccleston as the Ninth Doctor and Billie Piper as Rose Tyler. This was exciting for me, as I was getting into using more of Blu-ray as well as DVDs in general. Continue reading

Hello everyone! 🙂

It’s also Week 70 on ‘The Nyssa Challenge’ today…and we’re coming to the end! I’m feeling so sad already! 😦 Today’s penultimate story in ‘The Nyssa Challenge’ for this week has the Doctor, Nyssa, Tegan and Turlough continue their escape from E-Space. The ‘Return to E-Space’ trilogy continues as the TARDIS team visit Isenfel in ‘Equilibrium’! 🙂 Continue reading
