After seeing Jodie Whittaker and Mandip Gill at the ‘London Comic Con Spring 2022’ recently, it’s only fair that I share my complete review on the six-part story that is Series 13 of ‘Doctor Who’ called ‘Flux’. Series 13 of ‘Doctor Who’ stars Jodie Whittaker, Mandip Gill and John Bishop with Jacob Anderson, Kevin McNally, Annabel Scholey, Sara Powell, Craige Els, Barbara Flynn, Sam Spruell, Rochenda Sandall and Craig Parkinson.

Yes! Last weekend, I attended the ‘London Comic Con Spring’ at the Olympia in London, February 2022. It was a two-day event, although I attended the Saturday only, not the Sunday. It was a pretty full-on day and it was the first Showmasters events I attended in a while since the last one in 2019. 🙂

This story features Jodie Whittaker as the Doctor, Bradley Walsh as Graham, Tosin Cole as Ryan and Mandip Gill as Yaz. It also features the debut of Sacha Dhawan as the Master!

Is one of them Shelob from ‘The Return of the King’? 😀 We’re also introduced to Yaz’s family and the nefarious Jack Robertson.

Well, if I found ‘Praxeus’ a disappointment the previous week, ‘Can You Hear Me?’ by Charlene James and Chris Chibnall was a big improvement. Yeah, there are some issues with some story points I was confused by, but overall this was a good outing. I found myself pretty gripped throughout this episode.

I greatly enjoyed ‘Part Two’ of ‘Spyfall’ in Series 12 of ‘Doctor Who’! I found it a satisfying conclusion to an exciting ‘masterful’ adventure with the Thirteenth Doctor. Yeah, it’s one of those episodes that needs to be seen more than once, but for the most part I was able to follow through what was happening.
