‘Doctor Who’ Marathon – ‘Extremis’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

It’s the first episode of ‘The Monks Trilogy’ in Series 10 of ‘Doctor Who’. The first episode is called ‘Extremis’ by Steven Moffat. This is what I consider to be a muddled trilogy of episodes in ‘Doctor Who’. The episode has the Doctor, Bill and Nardole discovering the Veritas at the Vatican, Italy where they also meet the alien Monks. Continue reading

‘Doctor Who’ Marathon – ‘Knock Knock’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Here is one of my favourite episodes from Series 10 of ‘Doctor Who’. Yeah it’s got a bit of a weak ending, but I found very enjoyable to watch on my birthday weekend in May 2017. This is ‘Knock Knock’ by Mike Bartlett, featuring Peter Capaldi and Pearl Mackie with special guest star David Suchet. Continue reading

‘Doctor Who’ Marathon – ‘Thin Ice’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

This is not the Big Finish audio drama called ‘Thin Ice’ featuring Sylvester McCoy and Sophie Aldred. Oh no! This is the TV episode called ‘Thin Ice’ featuring Peter Capaldi and Pearl Mackie. Why do two ‘Doctor Who’ stories feature the same title? It doesn’t make sense! They’re not even the same story!!! Continue reading

It’s time for the second episode of Series 10 in ‘Doctor Who’ and today it’s time to ‘Smile’! 🙂 See! I’m smiling already! 😀 And laughing! The Doctor takes Bill to an Earth colony in the far future where the Emojibots seem to be causing trouble as well as the Vardy. Can the Doctor and Bill smile enough to survive? Continue reading
