My best mate from school, Stephen, fancied a trip to Birmingham. Once I told him that Jodie Whittaker (the Thirteenth Doctor in ‘Doctor Who’) was going to attend ‘Collectormania 27 – Film & Comic Con Birmingham’ at the NEC, Birmingham in September 2022, we agreed to meet up there. 🙂

And here we are once again with another ‘convention memories’ blog post for today! I attended a pretty fruitful amount of conventions in 2011. I attended the ‘London Film and Comic Con’ in July; ‘Regenerations 2011’ in Swansea for September and ‘Acceptable In The 80s’ in Chiswick, London for October. For my last convention in 2011, I attended the ‘Memorabilia Birmingham’ event at the NEC.

Last weekend from the 19th to the 21st of October 2018, my Mum and I attended the ‘Destination Star Trek Birmingham’ convention at the NEC (National Exhibition Centre) in Birmingham. I had an amazing time! There was lots to do; plenty to see and it was an interesting, unusual experience to see what a ‘Star Trek’ convention was like for change.

Oh I’ve had a fantastic time at the ‘MCM Birmingham Comic Con’ last weekend! This was held at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) in Birmingham, which I attended twice previously in November 2011 and March 2016. This event was exciting for me! I got to meet my favourite stars from ‘Doctor Who’ and other franchises.

Convention Report – ‘Fantom Events at Memorabilia 2016’

Last weekend, I attended the ‘MCM Birmingham Comic Con’, a twice-a-year two-day event at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) in Birmingham. ‘Fantom Events at Memorabilia’ was taking place at the event on both days. I only went on the Saturday as I had a commitment on the following Sunday.
