I’ve seen Series 3 of ‘Downton Abbey’ on Blu-ray! I’m enjoying these ‘Downton Abbey’ seasons in the run-up to the upcoming film ‘Downton Abbey: A New Era’, which is set for release in March 2022. It’s time to talk about the first Christmas Special of ‘Downton Abbey’, which was transmitted on ITV 1 on the 25th of December 2011 between Series 2 and 3. I’ve found out that the upcoming ‘Downton Abbey 2’ movie scheduled for December 2021 has been rescheduled for March 2022. I’m saddened by this as I was looking forward to seeing ‘Downton Abbey 2’ at around Christmas time this year. But at least I have more of the TV series to check out. 🙂 Continue reading

Movie Review – ‘Mary Queen of Scots’

I saw the movie ‘Mary Queen of Scots’ at the cinema this week. This is a historical drama film set during the Tudor period of England in the 1500s. The film stars Saoirse Ronan as Mary, Queen of Scots and Margot Robbie as Queen Elizabeth the First. Both actresses deliver good performances in the film. Continue reading
