Convention Memories – ‘Cardiff Film & Comic Con 2014’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ and I’m Tim Bradley!

Before I share my latest convention report on the ‘London Comic Con Spring’ from last weekend, let’s talk about another set of ‘convention memories’! It’s time to talk about the first convention I attended back in 2014 – the ‘Cardiff Film & Comic Con’! This was held at the Motorpoint Arena in Cardiff, March 2014. This was one of the happiest conventions I attended, since it was close to home. 🙂 Continue reading

Concert Review – ‘The Promise of Christmas’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Back in July 2019, my parents and I saw Stuart Townend and Cambrensis in Concert at St. David’s Hall in Cardiff. Yesterday, my parents and I saw ‘The Promise of Christmas’ concert at St. David’s Hall. This helped to make me feel Christmassy. I enjoyed the carols and musical numbers being performed. 🙂 Continue reading

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I miss the ‘Doctor Who Experience’ in Cardiff Bay. I enjoyed going to the gift shop and seeing what was inside the exhibition full of adventure and displays of costumes and monsters. Thus, I suppose it gets all made up for when I attended the latest interactive exhibit in Cardiff – the ‘Marvel Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N.’. Continue reading

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

On Saturday the 13th of July this year, my parents and I attended ‘Stuart Townend and Cambrensis in Concert’. We had a nice time enjoying the songs and music performed by Stuart Townend, the Cambrensis Choir and Orchestra and the St. David’s Praise Choir. It felt pretty interactive for us too. We’ve come to the last stage of Series 1 of ‘Doctor Who’ with Christopher Eccleston and Billie Piper. Today it’s ‘Boom Town’, one of my favourite episodes from the series as it’s set in Cardiff and it features the Doctor, Rose, Captain Jack and Mickey teaming up to sort out Annette Badland as Margaret Slitheen. I’ve had another exciting weekend since I attended the ‘Film & Comic Con Cardiff’ from the 9th to the 10th of March in 2019! This for me was the second of two comic con weekends in March and the event was closer to home. In the first weekend of March, I attended the ‘London Comic Con Spring’. Continue reading

Theatre Review – ‘Fiddler on the Roof’ (Everyman Theatre Company)

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

As my parents and I saw the Everyman Theatre Company production of ‘Dad’s Army’ at the Open Air Theatre Festival in Sophia Gardens, Cardiff, it seemed fair to see the stage production of ‘Fiddler on the Roof’. We saw this stage production last Friday in the evening and we definitely had a good time. Continue reading

Theatre Review – ‘Dad’s Army’ (Everyman Theatre Company)

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

It’s the 50th anniversary of ‘Dad’s Army’ this year! Wow! How amazing it is to think that this gentle war-time BBC comedy series would continue to be talked about and make people laugh since its first transmission on TV in 1968. What better way to celebrate this TV series and see a stage version of it! Continue reading

Series 1 of ‘Doctor Who’ with Christopher Eccleston

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Over Christmas last year, I received an extra present from my parents. It was the Blu-ray edition of Series 1 of ‘Doctor Who’ with Christopher Eccleston as the Ninth Doctor and Billie Piper as Rose Tyler. This was exciting for me, as I was getting into using more of Blu-ray as well as DVDs in general. Continue reading
