It’s the last day of ‘Star Wars’ week on ‘Bradley’s Basement’ in May 2022, and we conclude on what is arguably the most divisive of ‘Star Wars’ film trilogies in recent years. It’s up to you whether you like this trilogy or not. I find it pretty average compared to ‘The Mandalorian’ and ‘The Book of Boba Fett’. I just hope there’ll be better ‘Star Wars’ movies in future.

After checking out and reviewing the original Thrawn trilogy by Timothy Zahn, it’s time to conclude this ‘Star Wars’ review season by checking out the final film of the ‘official’ ‘Star Wars’ sequels trilogy – ‘Star Wars: Episode IX – The Rise of the Skywalker’. I’ve seen a pretty good children’s film for Easter. That is of course, ‘Peter Rabbit’!

‘Peter Rabbit’ is based on the children’s books by Beatrix Potter. There was a Beatrix Potter film called ‘Miss Potter’ starring Renée Zellweger made in 2006. But there had never been a live-action film of ‘Peter Rabbit’. Until now that is. I didn’t expect to enjoy this film when I saw it at the cinema.

I’ve seen the 2017 film adaptation of ‘Murder on the Orient Express’ by Agatha Christie! And it was very good! I found myself enjoying this film. It felt like a traditional murder mystery without the need to add sensational moments; gory violence and sex scenes that I’ve seen in other adaptations.
