I know I have Disney+ shows like ‘Ms. Marvel’ and ‘She-Hulk: Attorney at Law’ to catch up on, and I’m hoping I’ll get around to checking out those shows soon. I wanted to see ‘The Suicide Squad’, the new 2021 film by writer/director James Gunn at the cinema. Before I did that however, I decided to check out the original ‘Suicide Squad’ film which was made in 2016. I saw the original theatrical version of the 2016 ‘Suicide Squad’ film at home via Google Play. 🙂

Today we take a look at the final film of Phase Two of the ‘Marvel Cinematic Universe’ film series. It’s a bit of a peculiar film to end Phase Two as it’s an origins story for a new superhero character. One wonders why ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ was not made as the finale film for Phase Two of the ‘MCU’.

‘The Dark Knight Trilogy’ continues as I’ve now seen and reviewed the second movie! Here is my DVD review on ‘The Dark Knight’, the second film of ‘The Dark Knight Trilogy’. This ‘Batman’ film is directed by Christopher Nolan, stars Christian Bale as Batman as well as the late Heath Ledger as the Joker.
