Here we are on the season finale of Season 14 in the classic ‘Doctor Who’ TV series! 🙂 It’s time for ‘The Talons of Weng-Chiang’, a six-part adventure by Robert Holmes and the last one to be produced by Philip Hinchcliffe. The story stars Tom Baker as the Fourth Doctor and Louise Jameson as Leela. It’s time for ‘The Deadly Assassin’, a four-part story by Robert Holmes where the Doctor returns to Gallifrey and faces the Master again. This story is notable for reshaping the Time Lords as we know them today. This is one of my favourite ‘Doctor Who’ stories from the Tom Baker era and it was the first Fourth Doctor TV story I checked out on DVD in 2006. It’s a well-loved classic. This is ‘Genesis of the Daleks’, a six-part story starring Tom Baker as the Fourth Doctor, Elisabeth Sladen as Sarah Jane Smith and Ian Marter as Harry Sullivan. We conclude the ‘Dalek War’ saga in the classic ‘Doctor Who’ TV series today by looking at ‘Planet of the Daleks’, a six-part adventure starring Jon Pertwee as the Third Doctor and Katy Manning as Jo Grant.
