Spider-Man at the Movies – ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

We come to the second and final (for now 😀 ) ‘Spider-Man’ film featuring Andrew Garfield as the webslinger – ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2’. Over the years, I’ve grown to like this film more and more. I know it’s the weakest of the two ‘Spider-Man’ films in the Andrew Garfield era so far, but like ‘Spider-Man 3’, I find there’s more good than bad in it. Continue reading

Spider-Man at the Movies – ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I’m pleased that there are five ‘Spider-Man’ movies currently available on Disney+, including ‘Spider-Man’, ‘Spider-Man 2’, ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’, ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2’ and ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’. It comes at a good time for me to revisit these ‘Spider-Man’ films before I share a brand-new review on ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’. Continue reading

DVD Review – ‘Small Soldiers’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Does anyone remember ‘Small Soldiers’? It’s a pretty underrated classic from 1998 by director Joe Dante of ‘Gremlins’ fame. I still love this film after seeing this film again. It also features a young Kirsten Dunst before she went on to become famous as Mary Jane Watson in the ‘Spider-Man’ films. Amazing that! Continue reading

Movie Review – ‘Ice Age: Collision Course’

Ice_age_collision_course

Hello everyone! 🙂

Are you getting a heat-wave where you are at the moment? Perhaps you need to cool down with seeing this ‘Ice Age’ movie at the cinema! 😀

I’ve now seen ‘Ice Age: Collision Course’, the fifth film in the ‘Ice Age’ movie series at the cinema! I enjoyed seeing this ‘Ice Age’ movie! I don’t think it’s the best out of the series, but I found it great fun to watch. It was nice to see the ‘Ice Age’ characters that included Manfred, Sid, Diego and Scrat. Continue reading

‘Ice Age’ Review – ‘Cosmic Scrat-tastrophe’

Hello everyone! 🙂

When I went to see ‘Snoopy and Charlie Brown: The Peanuts Movie’ at the cinema, I also saw this short film before the film started. This short film stars Scrat, the little squirrel from the ‘Ice Age’ movies. I really enjoyed seeing ‘Cosmic Scrat-tastrophe’ at the beginning, though I really can’t take it seriously at all. 😀 Continue reading

DVD review – ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Here is my first DVD review on ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’ film series directed by Marc Webb!

My review of ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’ starring Andrew Garfield; Emma Stone and Rhys Ifans is now here on ‘Bradley’s Basement’. This is the beginning of a new era of Spider-Man and a reboot from the original trilogy as it starts the story totally afresh looking at the story of Peter Parker and how he discovers the secret about his parents. Continue reading
