The First Doctor TARDIS team takes a venture in history in this seven-part ‘Doctor Who’ adventure where they meet Marco Polo in 1289. Sadly, ‘Marco Polo’ doesn’t exist as a TV story, as all the episodes have been wiped from the BBC Archives. Thankfully, the story can be enjoyed on audio CD or vinyl or as a download from Audible.

I had a fantastic time last weekend at the ‘Film & Comic Con Glasgow 2019’ at the Braehead Arena. This was a two-day event from Saturday the 17th to Sunday the 18th of August. I saw my favourite ‘Doctor Who’ stars at the comic con – Sarah Sutton (who played Nyssa with Peter Davison), Sophie Aldred (who played Ace with Sylvester McCoy) and Katy Manning (who played Jo with Jon Pertwee).

This was when the Fifth Doctor and Nyssa faced the Cybermen a second time in the classic Big Finish audio drama, ‘Spare Parts’. This is considered by many to be one of the best and well-loved ‘Doctor Who’ audio dramas by fans.
