The Easter weekend is nearly upon us! It’s the 60th anniversary of ‘Doctor Who’ this year and we’re currently checking out the Tom Baker/Fourth Doctor era. As such, for this year’s Easter review season, let’s check out the BBC audio series ‘The Nest Cottage Chronicles’. All 15 audios of it! We start off with ‘Hornets’ Nest’ and check out the first story called ‘The Stuff of Nightmares’ by Paul Magrs, starring Tom Baker as the Fourth Doctor and Richard Franklin as Mike Yates.

I’ve made a start with checking out ‘The Dalek Protocol’, a sequel to the ‘Dalek Universe’ audios featuring Tom Baker’s Fourth Doctor and I’ve created a new ‘Doctor Who Timeline’ for Mark Seven, currently played by Joe Sims in the Big Finish audios.

This is following on from the release of the ‘Stranded’ box sets of ‘Doctor Who’ with Paul McGann’s Eighth Doctor by Big Finish, which I’m sure people will appreciate, knowing there are more stories for a future Doctor and for two new companions.

Six years of ‘Bradley’s Basement’ and…we’re still having to abide by certain current pandemic guidelines. 😦 – please keep safe. Thankfully restrictions have eased significantly in the UK and certain parts of the world. Things are better compared to what they were in 2020. Cinemas have opened up and I’ve seen films on the big screen in 2021! Conventions and comics have started again and I’m looking forward to ‘Bedford Who Charity Con’ in October.
