TV Review – ‘Grantchester’, Series 6, Episode 3

SPOILERS ALERT!!!

Hello everyone. 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley.

I found the latest ‘Grantchester’ episode in Series 6 a tough one to sit through. The drama and the actors’ performances are very good, but concerning the sensitive topic about homosexuality being illegal in the 1950s and a character that I’ve grown to like over the years, it was tough to sit through. TV Review – ‘Grantchester’, Series 6, Episode 2

Hello everyone. 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley.

I’ve seen Series 6, Episode 2 of ‘Grantchester’! I enjoyed the episode very much and found it compelling. I especially liked the Wisdom of Solomon story given at the end by Tom Brittney as Will Davenport since it’s very fitting for what goes on in the episode. I am worried about Leonard though. Quick TV Episode Review – ‘Grantchester’, Series 3, Episode 6

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Here we are on the last episode of Series 3 of ‘Grantchester’! I’ve enjoyed Series 3 and the season finale has been satisfying. It’s sad one of the romances in the episode didn’t become successful in the end, but I expected it to be so. I am happy with how Sidney and Geordie’s characters turned out. Continue reading

Quick TV Episode Review – ‘Grantchester’, Series 3, Episode 4

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

This ‘Grantchester’ episode that I’m doing a quick review on is a pretty grim one to talk about. It seems that the mistakes Sidney and Geordie have made in Series 3 so far and how they handle their love lives are coming back to haunt them. And we haven’t even reached the penultimate episode! 😐 Continue reading

Quick TV Episode Review – ‘Grantchester’, Series 3, Episode 2

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I saw this ‘Grantchester’ episode way before I saw any of Series 4 and 5 episodes as well as the Series 1, 2 and 3 episodes. This episode perked my interest because a certain ‘Doctor Who’ star was in it. Lately, I’ve gained more knowledge of the ‘Grantchester’ series and know the characters more. Continue reading

Quick TV Episode Review – ‘Grantchester’, Series 3, Episode 1

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

It’s time for Series 3 of ‘Grantchester’! I’m not sure how things will turn out in Series 3, but things should be very interesting for our characters including James Norton as Sidney and Robson Green as Geordie. How will they handle their personal lives as well as solve numerous crimes in Grantchester? Continue reading

TV Review – ‘Grantchester’, Series 4, Episode 5

Hello everyone! 🙂

I’ve seen Series 4, Episode 5 of ‘Grantchester’ and it’s the penultimate one of the season. I enjoyed this episode very much. It’s sad we’re coming to the end of Series 4, but I’m looking forward to start watching the first three seasons of ‘Grantchester’ on DVD with my parents so that I can catch up on it. Continue reading

TV Review – ‘Grantchester’, Series 4, Episode 4

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I’m really enjoying ‘Grantchester’ as a series so far. The crime-solving is compelling and the character drama is well-handled. I know there’s been a change-over of casting in this current series, but I’m finding this easy to get into and hope I will get a chance to catch-up on the previous seasons of the series. Continue reading

TV Review – ‘Grantchester’, Series 4, Episode 3

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I found out from Sarah Sutton (Nyssa in ‘Doctor Who’) that she loves ‘Grantchester’. I need to catch up on the previous three seasons and the Christmas Special set before Series 4. 😀 Sarah hasn’t seen the latest Series 4 episodes though. I almost revealed spoilers to her at ‘Science of the Time Lords’. Oops! 😀 Continue reading
