It’s time to talk about my favourite ‘Doctor Who’ story from the Colin Baker era. It was also the first story for me to experience Colin Baker as the Sixth Doctor and Nicola Bryant as Peri. We continue our look into Season 22 of ‘Doctor Who’ on Blu-ray with ‘The Two Doctors’, a multi-Doctor story featuring Colin Baker as the Sixth Doctor and Patrick Troughton as the Second Doctor. We’ve come to the end of Season 24 of ‘Doctor Who’ with Sylvester McCoy! It’s time to talk about the fourth story of the season called ‘Dragonfire’! My updated review on the story is based on the Blu-ray box set release of Season 24. ‘Dragonfire’ features Sylvester McCoy as the Seventh Doctor and Bonnie Langford as Mel and it introduces Sophie Aldred as Ace, the new companion. At last! I’ve updated my review on another classic ‘Doctor Who’ season on Blu-ray! That’s right! I’ve updated my review on Season 23 of ‘Doctor Who’ with Colin Baker! This is actually the 14-part epic story ‘The Trial of a Time Lord’. It contains four segments linked by the Doctor being put on trial. The season stars as Colin Baker as the Sixth Doctor, Nicola Bryant as Peri, Bonnie Langford as Mel, Michael Jayston as the Valeyard and Lynda Bellingham as the Inquisitor. Continue reading
