In Season 9 of the classic ‘Doctor Who’ TV series, the first story away from Earth is ‘The Curse of Peladon’. Today, we take a look at the second story in Season 9 that’s away from Earth called ‘The Mutants’, starring Jon Pertwee as the Third Doctor and Katy Manning as Jo Grant. Can the Doctor and Jo solve the mystery of the planet Solos and the Mutts? Sadly, no X-Men can help them in this six-part story? 😀 ‘The Mutants’ can be checked out on DVD and Britbox. It’s time for the second story of Season 7 of the classic ‘Doctor Who’ TV series! 🙂 Today, we’re looking at ‘Doctor Who and the Silurians’, a seven-part adventure, starring Jon Pertwee as the Third Doctor, Caroline John as Liz Shaw and Nicholas Courtney as the Brigadier. I’m currently enjoying re-watching the first 10 Christmas Specials of ‘Doctor Who’ from the new series on Blu-ray. I’m three episodes in and only have eleven left to watch. I like how you can use the pop-up menu during the episode to change to different episodes and to add subtitles if you want to. Continue reading
