Hopefully from watching ‘The Power of the Doctor’, I’ve gained inspiration in writing the rest of my 60th anniversary special. I hope to share details on it as well as its title soon on my blog. 🙂 Continue reading

Book Review – ‘The Official Annual 2021’ (Doctor Who)

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

And welcome everyone to the second instalment of the ‘Time Lord Victorious’ review season of ‘Doctor Who’!

It’s time to take a look at a story featured in the official ‘Doctor Who Annual’ of 2021 called ‘The Guide to the Dark Times’, starring River Song as author Melody Malone. This connects to the ‘Time Lord Victorious’ series in terms of providing a guide on certain characters featured in the event. I’ve also reviewed the rest of the 2021 ‘Doctor Who Annual’ in my review for ‘The Guide to the Dark Times’. Continue reading

March of the Thirteenth Doctor #29

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

This is a ‘Doctor Who’ TV episode I have mixed feelings about. In ‘The Haunting of Villa Diodati’, the Thirteenth Doctor, Graham, Ryan and Yaz meet Mary Shelley for the first time. This story would’ve been fine if I hadn’t heard the Big Finish audios featuring Paul McGann’s Eighth Doctor and Mary Shelley to spoil my enjoyment. Continue reading

March of the Thirteenth Doctor #28

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Another episode from Series 12 of ‘Doctor Who’ in the ‘March of the Thirteenth Doctor’ today! It’s time for some nightmarish proportions as the Thirteenth Doctor, Graham, Ryan and Yaz confront a deadly enemy in ‘Can You Hear Me?’ I like this episode very much as it sheds more light on our four main TARDIS regulars. Continue reading

It’s back with the ‘Doctor Who’ TV series again as we resume Series 12 featuring Jodie Whittaker as the Thirteenth Doctor, Bradley Walsh as Graham, Tosin Cole as Ryan and Mandip Gill as Yaz. Today, we take a look at ‘Praxeus’ by Pete McTighe, who wrote ‘Kerblam!’ for Series 11. Will ‘Praxeus’ impress me as much as ‘Kerblam!’ did? Continue reading
