It’s time for us to return to Peladon, as we take a look at the second of the ‘Peladon Tales’ in ‘Doctor Who’ called ‘The Monster of Peladon’. This is a six-part adventure, starring Jon Pertwee as the Third Doctor and Elisabeth Sladen as Sarah Jane Smith. This story also features the Ice Warriors as well as Alpha Centauri. It’s time to talk about the first of the Peladon stories in ‘Doctor Who’ called ‘The Curse of Peladon’. This four-part story has Jon Pertwee as the Third Doctor and Katy Manning as Jo Grant visiting the planet Peladon, where they encounter Ice Warriors, Alpha Centauri and David Troughton as King Peladon. 😀 ‘The Curse of Peladon’ can be checked out on DVD and Britbox. The story will soon be re-released in the Season 9 Blu-ray box set, so watch out for that. 😀

This is ‘The Ice Warriors’, a six-part story featuring ‘Doctor Who’s version of the Martians from Mars called the Ice Warriors. The story also stars Patrick Troughton as the Second Doctor, Frazer Hines as Jamie and Deborah Watling as Victoria. The two ‘Forty’ box sets were released this year to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Peter Davison as the Fifth Doctor in ‘Doctor Who’.

The Fifth Doctor, Nyssa, Tegan and Adric appear in the fifth chapter of the graphic novel story called ‘In Their Nature’.
