I’ve done a new review on a movie I’ve seen recently. This is the 1944 film ‘Gaslight’, starring Charles Boyer, Ingrid Bergman and Joseph Cotton. This film is based upon the 1938 play by Patrick Hamilton. I’ve seen a 2017 theatre production of the play and it was quite different compared to seeing the 1944 film. Continue reading

Movie Review – ‘Casablanca’

Last Tuesday on St. Valentine’s Day, my parents and I went to see a re-release of the 1942 film ‘Casablanca’, starring Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Berman. This was at the Showcase Cinemas in Nantgarw and we had a great night-out, enjoying this classic black-and-white film on the big screen! Continue reading
