Yesterday (Easter Tuesday, as I’d like to call it 😀 ), I saw ‘The Super Mario Bros. Movie’ at the cinema when on a trip to town. I enjoyed checking out the latest ‘Super Mario Bros. Movie’ on the big screen. Whilst I’m not a huge ‘Mario’ fan, I found this a really fun-filled film experience to check out.

I must admit, I haven’t read the 1726 novel ‘Gulliver’s Travels’ by Jonathan Swift. I’ve heard things said about the book over the years and I’ve seen an animated film adaptation of the book long ago when I was a kid. Not sure if it was the 1939 American animated film I saw, although I think it was. 🙂

Here I am again with another review on a ‘Muppets’ movie, which I saw on Disney+ directly after seeing the fourth episode of ‘Muppets Now’. ‘The Muppets’ 2011 film was a movie I saw at the cinema in February 2012 in the UK. It is the first of what is considered as a ‘reboot’ of the Muppets.

Well, this was a lot of fun! I’ve seen ‘Jumanji: The Next Level’ recently at the cinema. This is the sequel to ‘Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle’ that was released in 2017 and the third film of the ‘Jumanji’ franchise. I enjoyed this film so much, finding it very satisfying and cleverly-written indeed.

For the past three birthdays, I’ve had a Jim Carrey movie from my best mate Stephen. In 2016, it was ‘Batman Forever’; in 2017, it was ‘The Mask’. This year, I had ‘The Cable Guy’ with Jim Carrey and Matthew Broderick. This was the ‘funny’ movie Stephen gave me in the three birthday gifts for 2018.

What if ‘Jumanji’ became a video game?!

Years ago, I saw the original 1995 ‘Jumanji’ film with Robin Williams. I really enjoyed that film, finding it scary, funny and exciting at the same time. I didn’t really expect much from the brand-new movie with Dwayne Johnson, Jack Black, Kevin Hart and Karen Gillan when it was released at cinemas.
