And I’d like to pay tribute to a ‘Doctor Who’ writer who has contributed to the classic TV show significantly – Philip Martin. Sadly, we lost Philip Martin in December 2020. He wrote two enjoyable TV stories such as ‘Vengeance on Varos’ and the ‘Mindwarp’ segment of ‘The Trial of a Time Lord’. 🙂

This is Sophie Aldred’s favourite story in ‘Doctor Who’ and I can’t deny I enjoyed the journey Ace had throughout this story.

This is one of my favourite episodes in Series 8 of ‘Doctor Who’ and it’s the first writing contribution by Jamie Mathieson. This is ‘Mummy on the Orient Express’ and the Doctor takes Clara to visit the Orient Express in outer space. There’s also a murder mystery going on with a mummy-like figure killing people.

Series 8 of ‘Doctor Who’ with Peter Capaldi

With the latest news that Peter Capaldi is now leaving ‘Doctor Who’ and with Series 10 on its way next month in April, I’ve now added my DVD reviews on Series 8 on ‘Bradley’s Basement’. Series 8 is Peter Capaldi’s first season as the Twelfth Doctor in ‘Doctor Who’ and was shown in 2014. It also stars Jenna Coleman as Clara Oswald, the Twelfth Doctor’s companion for Series 8.
