For Christmas 2021, I gave my Mum the complete series of ‘Hetty Wainthropp Investigates’. This is a crime drama series, featuring Patricia Routledge as the title character. Many of you will know her for playing Hyacinth Bucket in ‘Keeping Up Appearances’. It was nice to see her in this TV drama series.

At last! I’ve updated my review on another classic ‘Doctor Who’ season on Blu-ray! That’s right! I’ve updated my review on Season 23 of ‘Doctor Who’ with Colin Baker! This is actually the 14-part epic story ‘The Trial of a Time Lord’. It contains four segments linked by the Doctor being put on trial. The season stars as Colin Baker as the Sixth Doctor, Nicola Bryant as Peri, Bonnie Langford as Mel, Michael Jayston as the Valeyard and Lynda Bellingham as the Inquisitor.

Well, Sarah Sutton said I should do more Agatha Christie stuff on my blog in the Aprils Fools sketch we did earlier this year and what good timing to post this after my ‘Doctor Who’ post on ‘The Unicorn and the Wasp’. Today, I’ve added my reviews on the 12 stories featured in the BBC ‘Miss Marple’ TV series, starring Joan Hickson as the title sleuth. I’ve enjoyed watching these adaptations.
