Well, we’ve finally reached the end of the ‘Transformers Film Review Season’!!!!!

And I’m happy to say we’re finishing on a high, as we come to what is arguably the best ‘Transformers’ film in the live-action film series. It’s time for ‘Bumblebee’ which was released in December 2018 and directed by Travis Knight. The film stars Hailee Steinfeld, John Cena, Jorge Lendeborg Jr., John Ortiz, Jason Drucker and Pamela Adlon. On the 18th of February 1952, the historic United States Coast Guard rescue of the crew of the SS Pendleton took place. Quick DVD review – ‘Sgt. Bilko’ (1996 film)

I’ve seen the second of three birthday presents from my best mate from school, Stephen.

‘Sgt. Bilko’ has been a very enjoyable comedy film starring Steve Martin as the main character. This film was made in 1996 and is based on the 1950s Amercian sitcom series ‘The Phil Silvers Show’ (also known as Sgt. Bilko). I knew what ‘Sgt. Bilko’ was about, having seen the original TV series before this. Continue reading
