I’ve created a new page about Douglas Adams on ‘Bradley’s Basement’. I’ve also reviewed the first of ‘The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy’ radio series by Douglas Adams called ‘Primary Phase’. This is a series I’ve wanted to check out and review on my blog for quite some time. I’m glad I’ve been able to review the first ‘Hitchhiker’s’ radio series as a starting point.

DVD review – ‘Little Dorrit’ (1987)

Here’s my latest review on the 1987 film adaptation of ‘Little Dorrit’, based on the novel by Charles Dickens. The 1987 film adaptation of ‘Little Dorrit’ is a two-part film. Each part is about 3 hours long, which makes this a 6-hour film altogether. You’ll probably want to spend two days watching this particular film. 🙂

For Christmas 2020, I gave my Mum a 3-disc DVD set of an ‘Agatha Christie Collection featuring Peter Ustinov’ in his ‘classic role’ as Hercule Poirot. For my Dad, I gave him a Blu-ray edition of 2016’s ‘Pete’s Dragon’. We’ve enjoyed watching these films very much over the Christmas holidays.

As I’ve been adding my reviews on the episodes for the ‘Dad’s Army’ radio series as well as adding reviews for the 1971 ‘Dad’s Army: The Movie’; ‘We’re Doomed! The Dad’s Army Story’; the 2016 ‘Dad’s Army’ movie and the 2019 ‘Dad’s Army’ lost episodes remake, I’ve also updated and extended my reviews on all the episodes of the ‘Dad’s Army’ TV series. It took a while, but it was well worth it!

The 2019 remake of the three lost ‘Dad’s Army’ episodes from Series 2 were broadcast in August this year. I was pretty excited by this! Sadly I haven’t seen the remade lost episodes of ‘Dad’s Army’ since I don’t have the GOLD channel on my TV. Hopefully, the 2019 remake of the lost ‘Dad’s Army’ episodes will be on DVD soon. In the meantime, I’ve recently completed my reviews on Series 3 of the ‘Dad’s Army’ radio series.

Quick DVD Box Set Review – ‘It Ain’t Half Hot Mum’

My parents and I have just finished atching the complete DVD box set of ‘It An’t Half Hot Mum’! This was a Christmas present I gave to Dad last year and I’m amazed we’ve finished all the episodes over a month! My parents have really enjoyed this comedy series and I’m pretty pleased about that!

‘Dad’s Army: Series 6’ Updated
