For Christmas 2021, I gave my Mum the complete series of ‘Hetty Wainthropp Investigates’. This is a crime drama series, featuring Patricia Routledge as the title character. The latest news I’ve heard about ‘Call the Midwife’ is that Series 10 has completed filming. This is good news, especially during difficult times – please keep safe! Hopefully Series 10 will be shown on TV screens soon and hopefully most of us will have the Covid-19 vaccine by then. 🙂 In the meantime, I’ve been checking out Series 6 of ‘Call the Midwife’ on DVD. Sadly, a lot of the areas of Wales, including my own, have been put into lockdown recently due to the coronavirus pandemic – please keep safe. But I’m not going to be downhearted by this. I’m going to continue doing what I enjoy doing on my blog and what better way to do that by sharing that I’ve reviewed all of the episodes in Series 5 of the BBC comedy TV series, ‘The Brittas Empire’. I’ve added a new comedy page to my blog on the BBC TV sitcom series called ‘The Brittas Empire’. The series is about an odious leisure centre manager in Whitbury Newtown. It stars Chris Barrie as Gordon Brittas and Pippa Haywood as his wife Helen. I’m pleased I’m revisiting the series on DVD for my blog. Continue reading
