Two months into 2023 and my parents and I have finished seeing Series 12 of ‘Call the Midwife’. We saw the first seven episodes on BBC iPlayer, due to missing a week on the first episode when it began on New Year’s Day. We saw the eighth and last episode on BBC TV on its transmission date. 🙂

On Christmas Day, I saw the latest ‘Call the Midwife’ Christmas Special on BBC One. I enjoyed seeing the Christmas Special and I’m sure I’ll be seeing Series 12 in the New Year. Mind you, I’m wondering if the series is getting a little tired by this point, especially when it’s being going on for a long time. 😐

From January to February 2022, I’ve been enjoying eight weeks of Series 11 of ‘Call the Midwife’! Yes, the series has gone back to eight episodes in Series 11 as opposed to seven episodes in Series 10. And this time, it was back to its January-February slot as opposed to the April-May slot in 2021. 🙂

We’ve recently finished Series 10 of ‘Call the Midwife’ on DVD, which was shown earlier this year on BBC One from April to May. We’re currently looking forward to seeing the 2021 Christmas Special and Series 11 next.

Well, it took us a while, but my parents and I have finally reached the point where we can get onto watching Series 10 of ‘Call the Midwife’ on DVD. We’ve finished Series 9 on DVD and I’ve added my latest reviews on the season on my blog. I first saw Series 9 of ‘Call the Midwife’ back in early 2020. Amazing how I’m revisiting it a year later on DVD in 2021.

At this point, three episodes of Series 10 of ‘Call the Midwife’ have been transmitted on BBC TV. I of course haven’t seen them yet. I’m currently watching the seasons set before Series 10. I’ve finished watching Series 7 and I’m looking forward to revisiting Series 8 and 9 before I watch Series 10 on DVD, which I’ve pre-ordered from Amazon.co.uk.

The latest news I’ve heard about ‘Call the Midwife’ is that Series 10 has completed filming. This is good news, especially during difficult times – please keep safe! Hopefully Series 10 will be shown on TV screens soon and hopefully most of us will have the Covid-19 vaccine by then. 🙂 In the meantime, I’ve been checking out Series 6 of ‘Call the Midwife’ on DVD.

Well, 2020 is a year where I reviewed more ‘Call the Midwife’ episodes than usual. As well as reviewing the Series 9 episodes, I also checked out Series 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 as well as the 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 and (very recently) 2016 Christmas Specials. I’m looking forward to seeing Series 6 soon!
