Over Christmas 2021, I’ve been watching some of my Christmas presents on Blu-ray, including ‘Space Jam’, ‘Space Jam: A New Legacy’ and the two ‘Jumanji’ films ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ and ‘The Next Level’. Well, this was a lot of fun! I’ve seen ‘Jumanji: The Next Level’ recently at the cinema. This is the sequel to ‘Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle’ that was released in 2017 and the third film of the ‘Jumanji’ franchise. What if ‘Jumanji’ became a video game?!
Years ago, I saw the original 1995 ‘Jumanji’ film with Robin Williams. I really enjoyed that film, finding it scary, funny and exciting at the same time. I didn’t really expect much from the brand-new movie with Dwayne Johnson, Jack Black, Kevin Hart and Karen Gillan when it was released at cinemas. Continue reading
