I’ve had a chance to check out ‘The Hobbit’ and ‘The Lord of the Rings’ films again, set in the world of Middle-Earth. I’m planning to do a ‘LOTR’-styled Advent Calendar for my blog this year with a comedic edge to it. I also hope to make a start on updating my reviews on the ‘LOTR’ radio series once I’ve sorted out my ‘Nyssa Challenge’ reviews for this year. I also hope to see the new ‘LOTR’ TV series on Amazon Prime Video soon.

I know I said I probably wouldn’t see the 2016 live-action remake of ‘Pete’s Dragon’ in a hurry once I reviewed the original 1977 film. But after seeing the original film again recently on DVD and with me subscribing to Disney+, my parents and I decided to check out the 2016 film to see what it was like. 🙂

And welcome everyone to the final week of this year’s ‘Marvel Cinematic Universe Film Review Season’!

And here we are on what is arguably considered to be the unusual ending for ‘Phase Three: Part One’ in the ‘Marvel Cinematic Universe’ movie series. This is ‘Thor: Ragnarok’, the third film in the ‘Thor’ trilogy so far as well as the last ‘MCU’ film that was shown in 2017. Yeah ‘Phase Three: Part One’ covered two years of ‘MCU’ movies at the cinema whilst the second half covered the next two.
