In this story of Season 14 in the classic ‘Doctor Who’ TV series, we’re introduced to a new companion – Louise Jameson as Leela. It’s time for ‘The Face of Evil’, a four-part adventure by Chris Boucher. The story has Tom Baker as the Fourth Doctor meeting Leela on a jungle planet and they solve the mystery of the Evil One called Xoanon (who looks like Tom Baker) and the threat to the tribes of the Sevateem and the Tesh. ‘The Face of Evil’ can be checked out on DVD, Blu-ray and Britbox.

Here we are on the final story of Season 6 of the classic ‘Doctor Who’ TV series and the final story of the Patrick Troughton era. This is ‘The War Games’, a ten-part epic adventure, starring Patrick Troughton as the Second Doctor, Frazer Hines as Jamie and Wendy Padbury as Zoe. ‘The War Games’ can be checked out on DVD and via Britbox. Sadly, a lot of the areas of Wales, including my own, have been put into lockdown recently due to the coronavirus pandemic – please keep safe. But I’m not going to be downhearted by this. I’m going to continue doing what I enjoy doing on my blog and what better way to do that by sharing that I’ve reviewed all of the episodes in Series 5 of the BBC comedy TV series, ‘The Brittas Empire’. I’ve shared my reviews on each of the eight episodes of Series 5 and have reviewed the 1994 Christmas Special too. I’m looking forward to Series 6 next.
