Last week, my parents and I went on the ‘Big Band Sounds Break’ with Tony Jacobs; the Jim Barry Quintet; the Tuxedo Jazz Orchestra, the Swing Time Jivers and many more. This was a birthday treat for my Dad from Monday the 6th to Thursday the 9th of November, which he really enjoyed indeed.

Holiday Report – Tony Jacobs ‘Swing That Music’ Midweek Break

Hello everyone! 🙂

Last week, my parents and I went on a ‘Swing That Music’ midweek break with Tony Jacobs and his 17 piece Swing Big Band Orchestra – the Jim Barry Quintet, the Bateman Brothers and the 10 piece Tuxedo Jazz Orchestra!! This was from Monday the 15th to Friday the 19th of May 2017.

Holiday Report – ‘32nd Festival of Big Band Swing, Hot Jazz and Cabaret’

Hello everyone! 🙂

In April 2016, I attended the ‘30th Festival of Jazz, Swing and Cabaret’ at Richardson’s South Downs Holiday Village. Last weekend in October 2016, my parents and I had another enjoyable weekend at the ‘32nd Festival of Big Band Swing, Hot Jazz and Cabaret’ held at the same venue with Tony Jacobs.

Holiday Report – ‘30th Festival of Jazz, Swing and Cabaret’

Hello everyone! 🙂

I’ve had a nice weekend in Chichester with my parents. We attended the ‘30th Festival of Jazz, Swing and Cabaret’ at Richardson’s South Downs Holiday Village with Tony Jacobs. This was a relaxing weekend of concerts featuring some of the best jazz and swing music from the 1920s; 30s and 40s.
