Last weekend, I saw the latest Disney live-action remake of ‘Pinocchio’, directed by Robert Zemeckis of ‘Back to the Future’ fame and based on the 1940 animated film of the same name. The film stars Tom Hanks, well-known for voicing Woody in ‘Toy Story’ and for being in 2004’s ‘The Polar Express’.

Last Friday, I saw the 2011 film adaptation of ‘The Three Musketeers’, directed by Paul W. S. Anderson, which is on Disney+. In 2021, I saw the 1993 film adaptation of ‘The Three Musketeers’, which is also on Disney+. 🙂 I hoped that I would have a pretty fun time checking out the 2011 film.

I’ve had a chance to check out ‘The Hobbit’ and ‘The Lord of the Rings’ films again, set in the world of Middle-Earth. I’m planning to do a ‘LOTR’-styled Advent Calendar for my blog this year with a comedic edge to it. I also hope to make a start on updating my reviews on the ‘LOTR’ radio series once I’ve sorted out my ‘Nyssa Challenge’ reviews for this year. I also hope to see the new ‘LOTR’ TV series on Amazon Prime Video soon.

Movie Review – ‘Beauty and the Beast’ (2017)

Recently, my parents and I went to see the new live-action film of ‘Beauty and the Beast’ at the cinema! I greatly enjoyed seeing this new film and so did my Mum and Dad. Watching it made me re-live my memories of watching the original 1991 cartoon film of ‘Beauty and the Beast’.
