It’s funny how I seem to keep coming back to ‘The Three Musketeers’ by Alexandra Dumas every year. In 2021, I reviewed the 1993 film and in 2022, I reviewed the 2011 film. Both films I saw on Disney+. I’ve just finished checking out the BBC TV series ‘The Musketeers’, based on the 1844 novel.

I’m currently looking forward to when Series 3 of the new ‘All Creatures Great and Small’ TV series gets transmitted on Channel 5, hopefully in September this year. In the meantime, I’ve shared my latest reviews on Series 2 of the new ‘All Creatures’ series as well as the 2020 Christmas Special, which I’ve enjoyed revisiting on DVD lately.

There will come a time when the 2020 Christmas Special of the new ‘All Creatures Great and Small’ series will come out on DVD. Hopefully with the Series 2 DVD after Series 2 gets transmitted sometime later in the year on Channel 5 in the UK. In the meantime, let’s revisit Series 1 of the new ‘All Creatures’ series on DVD.

Amazing to think that it wasn’t that long ago since my parents and I saw Series 1 of 2020’s ‘All Creatures Great and Small’ on Channel 5 back in September to October. And we’ve got the Series 1 DVD already. I’m looking forward to revisiting Series 1 and I look forward to watching Series 2 next. 🙂

I’ve seen the fifth episode of the new ‘All Creatures Great and Small’ series being shown on Channel 5 called ‘All’s Fair’. My parents and I really are getting into this series. I feel the new series has surpassed my expectations greatly. I’ve even pre-ordered the DVD release of Series 1 on Amazon. 😀

The 2016 Christmas Special of ‘Grantchester’ has the distinction of being the only ‘Grantchester’ Christmas Special to be made so far. Unlike ‘Call the Midwife’ and ‘Doctor Who’ where they would regularly make festive episodes every year, ‘Grantchester’ hasn’t done that many Christmas Specials.
