It’s time for the second story in Season 11 of the classic ‘Doctor Who’ TV series called ‘Invasion of the Dinosaurs’, starring Jon Pertwee as the Third Doctor and Elisabeth Sladen as Sarah Jane Smith. This six-part adventure also features Nicholas Courtney as the Brigadier, Richard Franklin as Mike Yates (this story sees a character change in Mike) and John Levene as Sergeant Benton. It’s time for us to check out the ‘Dalek War’ saga in the classic ‘Doctor Who’ TV series. Today, we’re starting off with ‘Frontier In Space’, a six-part adventure starring Jon Pertwee as the Third Doctor and Katy Manning as Jo Grant. Roger Delgado also makes his last and sadly final appearance as the Master in this ‘Doctor Who’ story. In ‘Frontier In Space’, the Master tries to provoke a war between the Earth and Draconian Empires. This six-part story can be checked out on DVD, Blu-ray and Britbox.

Before the Sea Devils returned in the ‘Doctor Who’ Easter Special called ‘Legend of the Sea Devils’ in April 2022, they made their debut in the ‘Doctor Who’ adventure called ‘The Sea Devils’, starring Jon Pertwee as the Third Doctor and Katy Manning as Jo Grant. Roger Delgado also makes a return as the Master in this ‘Doctor Who’ adventure. This six-part adventure can be checked out on DVD and Britbox. The story will soon be re-released in the Season 9 Blu-ray box set, so watch out for that. 😀

Here’s the penultimate story in Season 4 of the classic ‘Doctor Who’ TV series called ‘The Faceless Ones’. It’s here where we say goodbye to Anneke Wills as Polly and Michael Craze as Ben. In this story, Patrick Troughton as the Second Doctor and his friends Polly, Ben and Jamie visit Gatwick Airport in 1966 where the alien Chameleons are causing terror. ‘The Faceless Ones’ is mostly a missing six-part TV adventure with ‘Episodes 1 and 3’ still intact whilst the rest of the story has been animated on DVD and Blu-ray. This updated review is based on the 2020 DVD/Blu-ray release featuring new animation episodes that fill in the loss of the original TV episodes that are currently missing from the BBC Archives.
